Résumé :
|
Group dynamics continues to be a popular field of study and, indeed, appears to have increased in popularity since the publication of the first edition of this book. Several important monographs on theory and research in group dynamics have been published and numerous journal articles report signifiant work relative to group behavior. Therefore, one of major purposes of this revision is to incorporate the new information and new insights provided by these publications. A second purpose is to expand the coverage to include areas that had been omitted or inadequately treated in the first edition. To this end, additional information has been included with regard to the physical environment, group size, crowding, communication, group tasks, and other topics. Two entirely new chapters have been added. For this reason, those readers who are interested only or primarily in the scientific study of group behavior may wish to omit these chapters.
