Résumé :

Costa Rica is often quoted on the international stage for its innovative and pioneering environnement measures, which have made it an exemplary country in terms of reforestation and biodiversity conservation. This reputation is further enhanced by the fact that most of the electricity is generated by hydroelectic dams, a so-called green and renewable source. This year, however, the rainy season has been slow to come, putting a strain on the country's electricity production and threatenig the region with squccesive power cuts. While the protection of nature is a subject that successive governments have been considering for several decades, reinforced by the presentation of anambitions programme of zero nt emissions by 2050, it would seem that the systémic and complex aspect of biodiversity is poorly understood and worked on.
